Concupiscence - Issue#10
About an evening and a couple of books
I made it! I made it to the 10th issue! When I started writing this, I had expected I’d run out of things to say every week. Then Shreya happened, and I decided to talk about her on and off in three issues. Then, I went on a vacation, where I wrote a lot of things. The longest among them was Reeti to Rita. Last week, I posted the third chapter of her story, the last chapter, which I intend to post online. The rest of it, will be book, available on Amazon for purchase. More on books later.
An evening with the Girls
So, I wrote the first of An Evening with the Girls on The Escapades. It’s a post on the Escapades, after a long time. When I started writing this Issue, I thought, I will write a little here, and then the rest as a separate post. However, the story kept writing itself, I had to publish it separately. Hope you guys enjoy it!
The Books
I have published two books A One Trip Stand and Untying The Knots.
A One Trip Stand
This was the first story, that I decided to publish as a book because, one, it was among my first Escapades story, and two, it remains to be my most read work, very close to my The Wild Indica post about u/arora_chef. The content of this book isn’t new. The entire story is already available here. However, unlike the online posts, the book is better proof-read and you can read it as a continuous story, rather than clicking through. There aren’t any pictures, of course, you would get the pictures only on the blog post.
The book is yet to go live in the Indian Market, for pesky reasons. I will insert the direct link to the book whenever it’s live in all markets. For those curious, here’s the link to the Amazon (US) for the book.
Untying the Knots
Writing this story series was LOT of fun. It was my second story on Dominoes of Desire, and I think I was pretty satisfied with how I fleshed out the characters. The pacing was a bit off in the beginning, I feel. I have already published four parts of the story here. The fifth (final) part is only contained in the book. The Indian market Edition is supposed to go live in a couple of days! This is the link to the US market place, which is already live.
In addition to the fifth part, you also get a better proofread story and the continuity. It was pointed out to me, that Part 3 of the story had loads of error. I was truly embarrassed when I was editing it for the book. I am pretty sure, the book has turned out exactly as I had expected.
Why the Books?
Well, for everything, there are good reasons, and then the real ones. The good reasons are — continuity in longer forms of stories, better proofreading, a much pleasing format, away from the distractions of the web. The real reason is monetization.
