AI Generated ‘Hot Pics’
AIs have been getting better in drawing pictures over the years, and I think 2022 will be remembered as the year when it crossed a threshold. Dall-E 2 was released in beta earlier this year. I first heard about it in a Waveform episode about Dall-E 2. It’s not a hyperbole when I say that I was blown away by the pictures people were making with Dall-E 2.
So, I joined the wait-list. And waited. And waited. In the mean time, I looked for alternatives, similar to Dall-E 2. Compared to the sample images by Dall-E, the pictures of these AI apps, seemed like what a traumatized child would draw. NightCafe and Midjourney are the ones I tried while I waited. It was frustrating spending so much energy and time working on prompts, which would eventually give inaccurate images and sometimes, scary images (imagine numerous eyes on the body of a slender girl?).
And finally, I got the invite for Dall-E 2! And boy, was I amazed. I am no artist. In fact, I am uniquely handicapped to be an artist, since I’m partially color blind. But I need art for the fiction erotica I write, and also fill up some spaces in The Escapades, of the kinds of pictures that I didn’t take at that time.
Dall-E 2 doesn’t draw naked women or any content which is meant to be sexual. It doesn’t allow for words like ‘nude’, ‘naked’ or ‘sex’. Fair enough. When I was trying out Dall-E 2, I was also writing Untying The Knots - 1. I wanted a picture of of Ishita — a curvy Indian girl, wearing kurta and jeans, walking in the rain. That’s how Manan would see for the first time. Below are the best of the pictures that Dall-E 2 generated for me.
Dall-E 2 makes it a point to insert big fat jewellery whenever I’d use the word ‘Indian’ in the prompt, which is why I write ‘brown skinned’ instead of Indian. Then, there’s the ‘curvy woman’ and ‘curvy girl’ thing in the prompt. A ‘brown skinned curvy girl’ generated far more attractive curves than if I replaced the word ‘girl’ with ‘woman’. I loved how vaguely it captured the ‘footpath of Mumbai’ part of the prompt.
Then, there was some I art that I needed for Tia’s Bloom. Here are some pictures I generated while trying to ask Dall-E how it imagined Tia.
The mirror pictures were a little difficult for Dall-E. I loved the curves it imagined, especially on the picture above. I started using “ample bosoms” to tell Dall-E that I needed big tits for the girls in the picture, and using the word “slender” was required when I was going for a girl who just has big tits and not thicc (although, I personally love thicc women).
I was trying to make an art for Workplace Donation. Here’s how Dall-E drew Nisha.
I used the same kind of words that I used in my post for Nisha, her porcelain skin. The Mangal Sutra was a nice touch, and I love the curves that were drawn, especially her breasts, which are discernibly ample. And finally one last image, before I risk spamming too many pictures in one post!
When I said NightCafe was bad, I was making a dated statement. It’s been barely a week since NightCafe released its Stable algorithm, which is optimized for drawing faces, and photo-realistic images. I am still experimenting with it, and it has produced some really wicked pictures. Many a time, it ends up censoring it’s own picture. I will post more of my experiments with it in next week’s issue. Here’s one that I really liked —
And, that’s it. Every Thursday, you will have a short post like this, delivered to you. Unstructured, but I hope entertaining and erotic. Share among peers, who have the taste of quicker hits of erotica, rather than the slow burn stories that I usually write. And, even better, consider visiting by BMC page, to make small donations?
